Business Studies

The Business Studies department aim to aid the development of enthusiastic future business professionals and enable all students to feel confident in achieving their goals in whatever field they decide to pursue. Students will:

• Gain a better understanding of the world of work and how they may fit in to organisational hierarchies

• Develop presentation and communication skills that are both essential and transferable

• Become more financially literate and have opportunities to explore careers in accounting and finance

• Students will gain an appreciation of the way they are marketed to by all manner of corporations.

• Have opportunities to consider the ethical issues facing consumers and suppliers in the modern business environment.
