History
Welcome to the department of History and Classical Civilisations.
The role of teachers in this department is first and foremost as educators and therefore one of our departmental aims is to strive to give pupils an education that is of a high standard, academically demanding and personally enriching.
As History teachers we seek to extend respect to all pupils regardless of background, ability or beliefs and we hope to instil this tolerance in all those we teach.

Aims of the department
The aims of the department are in accordance with the mission statement of the school:
