International School Status

On Friday 16th October a group of 13 Italian students accomapnied by 2 teachers visited La Sainte Union School as part of the ongoing programme in place as part of our status as an International School. The students were all 15 year-olds from the Istituto Tecnico Commerciale in Caserta, near Naples and were taking part in an intensive two-week English Language course at the British International School, Chiswick, London. Group leader, Professoressa Anna De Vito said that her students really enjoyed the day which involved being 'twinned' with a sixth form volunteer and participating in A level lessons across the school and La Swap Consortium. She expressed her thanks to Mr. B. McGowan (Head of Sixth Form/Teacher of Italian & History) for helping to facilitate the experience and Stefania Russiniello and Martina Saccaro from the British International School who helped co-ordinate the link, which we hope will grow and flourish.
