LSU School Bank

The Royal Bank of Scotland School Bank is open every Thursday from 1.20pm - 1.55pm outside the Senior Hall. Our School Bank aims to promote financial capability and to give students opening accounts first-hand experience of managing their own finances. It provides students with the foundation for the continued experience of having a bank account.

Pupils aged from 11-15 are eligible to open a Route 15 account.
A Route 21 account is available for 16 -21 year olds. In order to open an account, students must provide the following:

•    Signed Parent/ Carer consent from

•    Fully completed application form

•    Identification and address verification form, signed and stamped by the school

The forms are available from Ms. Steer in the Maths Department. When accounts are successfully opened, pupils will receive, by post, a Cash Card with a pin code and a pay-in book. If these items do not arrive within 6 weeks, please contact Ms Steer or a school bank officer.

Pupils can apply to work in the bank by filling out an application form and attending an interview. We welcome applications from girls in Years 9 to 11.
